Amazing All Around!!!
Trapt concert was absolutely amazing and everything I'd hoped it would be! I'd never seen them live before and when I heard they were on their farewell tour, I rallied!! I came in from out-of-state because they either didn't play in my state or I missed it. The 2 opening acts of this concert, Mac Powell & the Family Reunion and Black Stone Cherry, were awesome and really got the crowd pumped up with the right vibe! Then there was a long dramatic pause between when Black Stone Cherry went off the stage and Trapt came on. Finally, the members of Trapt slowly came onto the stage, one by one, with their entry music playing in the background, "Old Time Rock & Roll" by Bob Seger, and the crowd went wild!!! They did a great job commemorating the original members who had died in that plane crash in 1977 and bringing their spirits into the concert, as well as blessing up the entire crowds. I shed some tears during that song, it's always so beautiful. It was a really special place to have a concert. I was so excited!! I went to the Arkansas one because the timing was convenient for me, plus I'd never been to AR before, so it was a novel experience! Of course, there was a lot of setting up to do with all those instruments, but it was long dramatic pregnant pause nonetheless. Then they played their songs, I think it went on for about 1.5 hours, with their grand finale of course being Freebird. Trapt really has soul to 'em. Thank you!!!!! <3
